	By becoming a member of The Friends of Jefferson Public Library, you are pledging your support of the Jefferson Parish library system and helping to provide needed unbudgeted items for its various branches. In addition, membership entitles you to receive advance notice of book sales, opportunities to volunteer, and other events. Being a friend is a satisfying way to show your support.
